I joined IBM in March 1964. I worked in Finance from then till 1973, Product Assurance (formerly Product Test) 1973 to 1981, then in Plans and Controls from 1981 till my retirement in 1991. In the early days tea trollies went round all the offices with refreshments. The wearing of name badges was optional and were not required to gain access anywhere. The canteen was in the basement of the house before a number of later moves. |
