029 Card Punch Belt Replacement

Normally this is fairly straightforward procedure even after nearly 50 years since last doing this job. However pretty well every grub screw and bolt was so over tightened it took quite an effort to get it all apart. The woodruff key in the large gear shaft wouldn’t come out without serious persuasion, when it then flew out at high speed. Eventually it was found on the floor but it was damaged. Our spare 026 became a donor for another one, once the damage is fixed it will be put back together. There wasn't a small enough pin punch to remove the taper pin on the small pinion, but the one in the display cabinet of CE tools eventually did the job. Next job is the keyboard...
