Forgotten Voice

In the early 70s, there were three caravans to the south of X-block, each of which had three offices. Our caravan had a wasp's nest as a "feature", so during a particularly hot spell that meant our windows had to be open, we had a lot of wasps for company. Our solution was to have a wasp-swatting competition, which I won easily, because the nest was at my end of the caravan! These days I have a more benign view of wasps, owing to their useful role as pollinators.
