- I (Ed Thelen) show up at CHM most Wednesdays, - The RAMAC crew meets on various days as convenient. Almost an open house - 4 guys from the 1401 Restoration crew dropped by :-))
Not shown, John Best demonstrated the RAMAC arm moving to a variety of tracks (on one disk) at near rated speed under control of his microprocessor based controller and lap top. 
An open house - for the CHM docent class of 2011 John Best has his 350 controller causing the 350 to seek between multiple disks and track at seemingly full speed. He pauses at the end of every seek for 300 milliseconds (simulating a read or a write/check-read). :-))
Rumor suggests this 350 will be on display in the new more formal CHM, when construction is complete.
